Consultation & Payment Terms Policy for GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AGENTS

Being a highly sought after immigration law firm means that we have a large volume of clients wishing to undertake consultations with us and as such, it is important to read our Consultation Policy to ensure you understand the terms and conditions of scheduling a consultation with us.

Consultation Fees
Our consultation fee may change from time to time, we will advise you of our fee in advance of any booking of a consultation. The consultation fees must be made prior to your consultation, i.e at the time of scheduling your consultation. We accept Credit Card payments, EFT and Cash. If payments are being made by EFT, they must be cleared before we can proceed to scheduling the consultation.

Voucher 
As part of our advertisement, we will issue voucher(s). Voucher or Gift Card is valid for 3 months from the date of purchasing. This Voucher or Gift Card is valid for usage at any property of GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AGENTS. Voucher or Gift Card is not refundable. No change will be given but any unused balance will remain on the gift card may be applied to future use. Any unused balance shall be automatically forfeited upon the expiring date. This Voucher or Gift Card can be used for migration services only. No replacement will be given if the gift card is lost, stolen or damaged. Use of this Voucher or Gift Card constitutes acceptance of terms and conditions. In case of any dispute, the decision of GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AGENTS is final. This Voucher or Gift Card can be used in conjunction with other ongoing discounts or promotional offers. Voucher or Gift Card is not refundable and exchangeable to cash. This Voucher or Gift Card must be used in a single purchase. Any balance amount will be discarded. The GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AGENTS reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.

Types of Consultations Available
Consultations may be undertaken face to face at our office, via video conference, telephone or via email.

Rescheduling your Consultation
Your consultation will be confirmed via email within 24 hours of your appointment. If more than 48 hours’ notice received, we can consider rescheduling your consultation depending on our availability however rescheduling can only occur once.

Cancellations / No Show
We value your time and our time, and as such we do not offer refunds for cancellations, lateness or no shows. If a cancellation has occurred due to some unforeseen circumstance that is outside your control, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you do not attend your scheduled consultation, and a consultation fee is yet to be paid, a cancellation fee of 75% of the consultation fee is payable and due immediately. It is important you arrive on time for your consultation, if you do not arrive within your allocated time, you may not be able to receive the entire allocated time with your immigration lawyer & registered migration agent due to other consultations that may be scheduled.

Interpreting 
We do not provide free-of-charge interpreting services. By law, we cannot allow client's family members as an interpreter. A NAATI certified level interpreter must arrange either from client or us (all payments related to the interpreting services will need to be covered by client).

Cyber Risk Warning
Please be aware that there is a significant risk posed by cyber fraud, specifically affecting email accounts and bank account details. Please note that our bank account details will not change during the course of a transaction and we will not notify you of any changes to our bank details via email. Always independently confirm bank account details and transfer instructions with us in person or via a telephone call to a trusted and verified phone number. In the event of any loss of funds which is not due to the negligence of GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION AGENTS, we will not be liable for any loss or damages that may be suffered directly or indirectly as a result of any money which belongs to you not being received by you in which we shall be released from all and any claims, loss or liability incurred.
